Fall Arrestors

ICON can design and install custom made monkey board fall arrestors to suit your rig and your drilling programme.

A fall arrest device is essentially a unit with retractable lifeline which can be used to allow a worker freedom of movement when working at heights. In the event of a fall, the unit will lock and arrest the faller. During this process ‘brakes’ within the unit will operate ensuring that the forces on the faller are limited.
