Minimal Wellhead Structure

ICON Engineering carried out conceptual engineering, multi-discipline detailed design and installation engineering for the Maleo wellhead platform for Santos in Indonesia. The platform is braced to a converted MODU production facility. As with the previous Oyong project ICON developed a TTS and STS for the jacket and topsides respectively.

Bunga Kekwa Annexe Platform

Lundin had a need to support 2 additional wells from the 6 well slot Bunga Kekwa A platform. From conceptual design of the annexe platform to platform installation the total project duration achieved by ICON was only 4 1/2 months. The project was completed during the peak of the north east monsoon season without any incidents, injuries or medical treatments.

ICON's scope covered design assistance, installation procedure development and all installation works.

West Patricia Field Development
WP-PA Jacket Installation

ICON Engineering was commissioned by Murphy Sarawak Oil Co. to install the West Patricia WP-PA jacket off the coast of Sarawak, Malaysia in 40 metres water depth.

ICON's involvement included responsibility for installation engineering and site execution of the installation work.

WP-IA Topsides Installation

ICON Engineering continued its involvement with Murphy Sarawak’s West Patricia Field Development with the successful installation of the WP-IA water injection platform topsides. ICON utilised the same floatover system that was developed for the WPPA topsides, with slight upgrades to accommodate a weight increase and variations in geometry.
